Refund Policy

We want every customer to feel confident they're getting value. This policy explains when and how we refund.

1. First month ₹499 intro pricing

Every new Glowmap account pays a flat ₹499 for the first 30 days on whichever plan you choose (Starter, Pro, or Business). Payment is collected at signup. You get full access to the chosen tier's features from Day 1. Refund policy for the first month:

  • Refund within first 7 days: Full ₹499 refunded, no questions asked. Use the cancel button in your account settings.
  • Refund after 7 days: Pro-rated based on days used.
  • At Day 30: You switch to your chosen plan's regular monthly rate. No surprise — we notify via email + WhatsApp on Day 25.

2. Monthly plans

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from your account settings. Once cancelled:

  • You retain access until the end of your paid period
  • You won't be charged again
  • No partial refunds are issued for cancelled monthly plans

If you were charged in error (e.g., double charge, billing after cancellation), email support@glowonthemap.com within 30 days. Refunds for billing errors are processed within 7 business days.

3. Annual plans

Annual subscriptions can be cancelled anytime with a pro-rated refund:

  • Cancel within first 7 days: full refund (minus payment processing fee ~2%)
  • Cancel after 7 days: refund for unused months at Pro prorated rate
  • Refunds processed within 7 business days to original payment method

Example: You paid ₹49,990 for annual Pro. You cancel after 4 months. Refund = 8 months × ₹4,149 = ₹33,192 (approx.).

4. Enterprise plans

Enterprise plans follow terms specified in the individual contract. Typically: 30-day notice period for cancellation, pro-rated refund for unused period.

5. Situations we always refund

  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Failed service: if Glowmap is down for 24+ continuous hours, we credit a full day
  • Fraudulent charges: full refund + investigation
  • If Glowmap terminates your account for reasons other than ToS violation

6. Situations we don't refund

  • Forgot to cancel before renewal (monthly plans): account active until period ends, no refund
  • Change of mind on monthly plans after 30 days
  • Account terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • Usage-based fees already incurred (WhatsApp conversations on Enterprise tier, etc.)

7. How to request a refund

  1. Email support@glowonthemap.com with your account email and reason
  2. We respond within 2 business days to confirm eligibility
  3. If approved, refund is processed within 7 business days to original payment method
  4. Razorpay may take additional 3–5 business days to reflect in your bank

8. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank without first contacting us, we may suspend your account pending investigation. Please talk to us first — refunds are faster than chargebacks.
